The Penticton Concert Band is available throughout the year (with summers off) performing several concerts in venues throughout the South Okanagan area. Our band plays a variety of musical styles, including traditional concert band music, contemporary, classical, musicals, dixieland, music of the big band era, swing and jazz. We’re always on the look out for quality musicians and we would love more percussionists as we play a lot of percussion-heavy pieces.  We also have no oboe player, so if you play the oboe… You don’t have to be a professional to join and play. If you’re an intermediate to advanced musician and interested in joining the band, just come to one of our rehearsals on a Monday night, and see if what we are playing is something you’d like to join in on.
